Variety of Jewelry

Different Types of Jewelry

Gold: BOTEBOTE JEWELS offers both 14K, and 18K Gold plated jewelry options, as well as Gold-filled pieces. All are high-quality with different advantages. The karat is the purity and proportion of Gold in each piece.

14K Gold Plated: This contains 58.5% pure Gold and is the more durable of the two. You can expect less maintenance to keep this piece in pristine condition. It is also likely to appear cooler in tone as there is less of the pure Gold metal.

18K Gold Plated: This contains 75% pure Gold and is the more expensive of the two. With a higher purity, these pieces will have a warmed tone than their 14K counterpart.

Gold Filled: Jewelry in which a solid layer of gold is externally bound to a base metal. Gold makes up less than 5% of the weight of the final product.

Stainless Steel: A chromium, nickel, and titanium alloy recognized as being one of the most durable of materials. It is hypoallergenic and does not tarnish,  rust, or fade.
